本作品以细野晴臣的首张solo专辑《HOSONO HOUSE》中收录的《恋爱是桃色》为标题。以位于东京郊外的略显寂寥的别墅“恋爱是桃色”为舞台，描绘了笨拙的登场人物们的模样。莉莉饰演经营“恋爱是桃色”的合适中年男子·小白，斋藤饰演因意外事件而寄居在小白身边的有原因的青年·yoshio。
